Established in 1976, the AFSA is a veteran, non-profit organization with 501-c(19) status that supports its membership of Active Duty, Retiree, and honorably discharged Veterans of the Armed Forces within the skeet shooting community.  Membership is free so we hope that you can join us in promoting safety, fun, and competition within the world of clay target shooting!!

It is our regret to inform the AFSA Membership that we lost a valuable friend and member in William "Barney" Barnett at the end of March 2019.   He lost his battle with cancer and passed away in his home.  He was a great man, a committed shooter and if you were lucky he called you his friend. He was also unofficially the official photographer for AFSA the past few years.

The Marine Corps team will truly miss Barney's smile and huge heart.
