Support Local Military Club Events
We all remember being a young troop trying to learn this game that we have come to love. The support of fellow shooters and the guidance of experienced shooters at base clubs paved the way for us to participate in skeet competitions. If we fail to support the base facilities, our currently serving and future servicemen and women will lose the opportunity to shoot skeet at a base club near them!
Skeet is deeply rooted in military training, dating back to WWII when aircrew members and other ground troops learned to shoot moving targets. Let’s keep their legacy alive by supporting base clubs, when available!
The following shoots are held at military installations with shooting ranges. Consider attending these events to help sustain these clubs and promote the ASSC to AFSA-eligible shooters.
